📅 Wednesday, September 17 (add to calendar)

🕠 6 - 7 PM

📍 Location: Abbott Square (courtyard outside the MAH, toward the back)

Join us at our next Pacific for People meeting. It’s a great chance to connect, share ideas, and get involved in making Santa Cruz more people-friendly.

If you need directions, call or text 831-227-1789.

We hope to see you there!

UCSC students report the worst mental health in the UC system—and the #1 reason is housing. The lack of affordable, campus-owned housing is fueling stress, depression, and burnout.

Please email the UC Board of Regents and urge them to invest in affordable on-campus housing in Santa Cruz and slow enrollment growth until housing catches up.

This isn’t just a campus issue—our downtown economy depends on UCSC students. Furthermore, when the UC Regents increase student enrollment without building enough affordable housing, we see more homelessness(among students, too). If the University continues on this path, Santa Cruz will continue to feel the fallout.

Let’s make sure the Regents hear us: Invest in our students. Invest in our future.
