Next Bike Santa Cruz County advocacy committee meeting

5 - 6 pm on November 10 at Abbott Square. We hope to see you then!

The City of Santa Cruz could lead the nation in bike safety and infrastructure,

writes bike enthusiast Brooke Secor, but they continue to stall. Secor makes a lot of excellent points about how the City could invest in more walking and cycling infrastructure, describes a recent crash of hers on Pacific Avenue, and gives a shout out to our effort to have weekend pedestrian plazas. Does anyone know Brooke and is willing to introduce her to us?

A community event, "Yoga For All Day,"

shows us what a pedestrian plaza could mean for Downtown Santa Cruz.
