By transforming sections of Pacific Avenue into pedestrian streets and plazas throughout Downtown Santa Cruz between the months of May to September, we can make this space safer, healthier, and more livable. Pedestrian streets around the world, from Copenhagen to Tokyo, have been successful in lowering pollution, improving public health, encouraging local economy, and fostering community cohesion.
